Does anyone feel that some threads are locked without good reason?

Sometimes I read through a locked thread and am left scratching my head as to why it was locked I've read the rules, and some of these locked threads don't seem to be breaking them...

Well there is always a reason. Good or bad is up to interpretation.

 

If you were around a while longer you would have a very good idea how it works.

If I were legitimately concerned about it, I'd go post at Forum Issues. I'm just looking for opinions from the fine ladies and gents at ATOT.

For example, what reason would anyone have for locking this thread? No rules have been broken

Very rarely have I seen a thread locked that didn't deserve it. I'd say Durocshark's was one of them, and they fixed it.

Sometimes there are threads that are not locked that should be.
I don't recall ever seeing a thread that was locked that should not have been.
