Does anyone experience frequent coruption using RAID?

I just bouth Premiere 6 for my KT7-R setup. Seems like it can capture to the raid drive, but after several playbacks, it would crash every single time. I deleted the raid (now 2 single drives) and things work fine. My system should be plenty fast to handle the controller demand (1.2ghz 512mb). Any suggestions?
