Does anyone else think neckties are silly?

I mean, just think about it: let's take a length of uneven width silk cloth, and wrap it around our necks in such a way that it knots at the top and hangs over our midsection.

I'll be the first to admit, a nice tie can really pull together a set of dress clothes, but the concept of a tie is strange to me.

It's meant to point out your groin to females, so they look without realizing why. This why women think men look better in suits.

i heard some where that around 40% of all government officials wear their tie too tight, restricting blood flow to there brain... im serious

i don't get the point of them either, i don't really need something around my neck that makes it easier for someone else to strangle me
