Does anyone else take showers just because they're cold?

I have an urge right now to go hop in the shower cuz it's so cold in my house. I don't feel like turning on the heat since it's just me in the house.
 
YES. i love taking showers when i am cold. it relaxes me and comforts me. that sounds good!
 
i love the cold... but sometimes i do need a shower to warm my hands back if i've been outside for a while >_<

No, I have a waterbed.

But when I have to drag my ass out of my waterbed at 4 AM a hot shower feels damn good.

Wtf do you mean "earth's most natural resource"? The earth couldn't care less if we use all the water from the aquifers and have to resort to harvesting water from the ocean.
 
since all the women of OT are posting, i feel obligated. 😛

LOVE hot showers...i'll turn off the lights, light some candles and just stand there under the hot water with my eyes closed. then go to bed all warm and snuggly instead of waiting to warm up under the covers.

Why would you want to go to bed with your hair all wet? Whenever my girlfriend tried to lay down in my bed after taking a shower, I have to yell at her because I dont want to go lay down myself in a puddle of water.
 
So, you would be like my wife, who won't put the damn exhaust fan on during a steamy shower. This is really great for the wallpaper, paint and keeping mildew away.

Yes but if it's that cold, then when us guys are done taking the nice hot shower and we get out, our gonads get sucked back up into our stomach. 🙁

Apparently he was indoctrined with liberal propoganda. When I was a kid growing up in Oregon, I was taught in school that water wasn't a renewable resource and that we had to conserve it, blah blah blah I can understand the problems that the particular area had with drought, but to teach kids as if the whole world had this water shortage...
 
sometimes...

like..coming inside from spending a couple hours in the snow, or coming home from a coooooold football game.

But never just sitting around thinking.."i'm cold..i wanna shower". I think it's a waste..b/c you'll just get cold again, anyway.
