Does anyone else notice ADAM SANDLER's movies are all the same?

He's a one dimensional comedian and he's smart enough to stay there. I don't particularly like him but his comedy and movies are okay; at least they don't suck. The best comedian/actor to come out of SNL is Michael Myers.

Poor, poor Phil Hartman.

I still like his movies though. There are alot of repeat actors in his movies too. Sometimes they will just show up for one scene or something, but they try to fit his friends in there whenever possible.

Hartman was good but I like Myers better. If you're playing for the dead card, I'll take Belushi or Radner over Hartman anyway.

Adam Sandler is actually going to be in a good movie coming out soon. P.T. Anderson's "Punch Drunk Love" Looks like it'll be pretty good.

God knows I am no cultural arbiter, but IMO Adam Sandler has never made a single funny movie. I thought he was very funny years ago on MTV's Remote Control, and not terrible on Saturday Night Live, but his movies are garbage. Obviously I am soundly outvoted by the general public, though, so my take on things does not mean a whole lot.

Better than Jean Claude Van Damn who always fights in a tournament and always wins in the end.

Ugh.....Adam Sandler is a cinematic, theatrical genius compared to Van DAMN-MY-MOVIES-SUCK

I like Sandler's movies, they're just simple and funny, not much substance to them, and a lot a quotable lines. And he plays that guy that probably could have been some guy you knew in college, just the regular guy that's a little bit wacky.

Adam Sandler reminds me more a high school dropout....

I am praying that Mr. Deeds really tanks at the box office. The reviews are dreadful and it looks awful. It would be heartening to me if the public roundly rejected another of Sandler's horrible movies (Little Nicky was, as I recall, less successful than his previous films).

I like a lot of his movies. Happy Gilmore is probably my favorite though. I've watched that movie 1000 times and it's still funny. It's simple, it's funny, and it's comfortable to watch. That's why a lot of Sandler's movies have been successful.

Yeah Van Dame is only 4'6" He just looks taller because they put lifts in his booties.

I'd really need a reputable site to agree with that one. He always looks tall in his love scenes with various tall women in movies. Lionheart he's always fighting huge men, but he doesn't look 4'6", and also in Bloodsport. He wears no shoes and is fighting a lot of people. Perhaps you have your facts mixed up.

ON TOPIC: Sandler sucks.
