Does anyone else here feel immune to new private messages?

Sometimes it takes me hours before I even realize I have a new message. I think I get carried away in OT.

PM's I don't mind, but I was so sick of getting worthless IM's that I went through and deleted all my programs. Just up and quit cold-turkey. It felt pretty liberating actually...now I can sit at my computer in peace for a change. 🙂

Same here. Quit cold-turkey. 😛

I generally know when to expect a message, so if I'm not expecting any I don't search. Due to that fact, sometimes I skip messages for day or months.

I'm horrible about them. I've gone a couple weeks one time without noticing and it sorta ticked those people off. That's why I disable it sometimes. I feel guilty leaving somebody hanging that long. Not trying to be rude. I just don't do a good job of paying attention to the PMs.
