640MB.

Slow system then? A p3 maybe, or a 5400rpm hard drive? Do you regularly check for spyware and viruses, updating the checkers' definitions as you go? Even a spyware/virus-free windows installation has to be redone every once in a while to keep things running fast. Could also look into tweaking services, www.blackviper.com has a good guide, though with 640mb ram that probably isn't what's to blame for your system's sluggishness.

*shrug* when all else fails to solve an ie problem, get a new browser :p I was a die-hard ie6 user, tried & hated netscape though my friends all jeered at my browser choice. Tried firefox and was importing my favorites within a minute, haven't looked back since. www.mozilla.org
