Does anyone else have a theater nearby that does this?

We have a theater here in town that shows old movies on the big screen on thursday nights, for $5.00. Here's what's coming up.

Do a lot of places do this? It's fun, the movies they show are usually better than the new movies that are playing.

That'd be sweet. All we have around us are the massive theaters that cost an arm to step inside.

There's a small local theaters that plays movies after their debut and old movies for $2. Also, they have popcorn and REAL BUTTER. 🙂

Actually I knew a theatre that had FREE movies on Saturdays. They were all old, but I went all the time. Our old movie theatre is only like $1.50 I think, every night. And they aren't even that old, they are just movies that are no longer in any other theatre.

Personally, I don't go to the movies much anymore. Last visit cost $50, good thing I wasn't the one paying.

We used to have a theater that did that on the weekends and they tagged it "Midnight Movies."

Back then they were playing things like...

Heavy Metal
The Wall
Rocky Horror

I'd go see old movies on the big screen like that. That'd be fun.

Next summer we want to show movies on our garage door with a projector but we'll have to see how that works since our garage has molding and such on the panels...

There's a theater nearby that plays movies during the time they are out of theaters but still not on DVD, its like $2. And its $0.75 on Tuesdays, good stuff.

We have some theaters around here that are connected to a brewpub. They play second run and older movies for pretty cheap and you can drink microbrews, eat burgers or whatever, and put your feet up while you watch. It's great.

I don't know of any theatres that do this anymore. Pretty much all the little guys are gone now and replaced by the stadium seating monstrosities.

Nice Lineup
