Does anyone else hate Bee Movie before it even opens on November 2?

I don't think I've ever seen a movie hyped this much in recent times. Not even Spider-Man 3 was hyped this much. All over TV commercials, buying up time on NBC (those stupid Bee Movie shorts or whatever they're called) and Seinfeld do a grandstanding self promotion on an episode of 30 Rock.

Not to mention all the newspaper columns and seeing Jerry's mug all over the place.

I like Jerry, he's a funny guy. And I loved Seinfeld, but damn... it's getting out of hand.

Why so much hate for the Sein? I thought the HP commercial with him was pretty good, and of course they're gonna advertise the crap out of the movie so the kiddies will want to go see it.

Commercials fucking blow, but remove the stick from your ass about something that if wasn't there would just be replaced by another dumb commercial. Deal with it, and Seinfeld is the king of comedy even as a stupid bee.

Yes, and the movie looks like complete garbage based on the weak assed promos I've seen on practically every freaking commercial break on TV over the past 3 weeks.

I'd say there is about a 0% chance that I will EVER see this movie.

And if they want the kiddies to go see it, advertise the hell out of it during Spongebob. It'll get back to the parents for sure.

but the commercials are not "kid friendly"

it isn't like the children are watching Chuck and seeing this Bee Jr crap

Well see, from experience, the industry knows that it can make low-budget crap, and hype it up enough so that opening weekend ticket sales practically guarantee that it'll break even. From there, it's all profit. Making quality movies is tough work. Hyping crap is easy.

Fortunately, I've only seen one commercial for it. No urge to go see it, but then, I only see movies in the theater about once every 2 years, and each time, I remember again why I hate theaters.

I like the talking fish, personally. That, and the talking toys. Pixar rules. All other animation companies can suck it. Oh, and Fox does a good job with the talking ancient arctic creatures.

Dude, I loved Seinfeld and thought it was pure comedic genius but this movie looks like shit splattered on a silver screen. Give me any other dumb commercial please.

Maybe if you were a kid the commercials would have more bearing.

Many adults will see this, however; get the kids crazy about it and they will want to see it a few times and buy all the merchandise.
