Does anyone else get Weekly Required Tests at the worst time

It seems that we get those weekly tests of the emergency brodcasting system at the worst time. I was just watching Truimph on Conan and that damn test comes on and scares the hell out of me. Bad thing is that you lose all control of your TV and can't adjust the volume and that damn alarm is so loud. It's funny though that EVERYTIME it does click back, for about three seconds, I'm redirected to an episode of Magnum P.I.

I was watching Trading Places this weekend when an Amber alert came on. Definitely a worthy reason to interrupt the idiot box... except you couldn't understand a word the guy was saying the first SIX times he played the message.

My remote loses all control but it is the remote that runs the cable box. I'm sure my TV's remote would work but it's not the one that I use and I would have to scramble for it as these tests pop up out of no where.

yeah, what's with that? It seems that the emergency broadcast system, both radio and TV, is running on 150-year old homemade transmitters stuck in some kid's basement...

They pretty much are.
