Good lord...it's not that hard.

Settings -> Update and Security -> Windows Update ->
Advanced Options -> View Your Update History

Too many people complaining about things that they think aren't there in W10 that actually are...folks really need to delve deeper into the OS before complaining.
I agree. Spend some time with Win 10. Solid OS!

Most people have 8-16 gbs of memory, which laughs at Aero UI and anything else you could throw at the OS other than VM's. 10's UI is just lazy programming and ugly like Office 2013 too, as solid as it may be, agree with OP.

I highly disagree. Aesthetic choice doesn't mean it has to be as complex as possible. This is the new look of "modern". Areas populated by one color with hard edges and fade in/out functionality. Look at material design on Android, same general idea. I find it looks better and cleaner than past designs. A lot of UIs are trending this way because popular opinion is behind it.

As it was in 1996 and before, but I must agree it is popular now:

I absolutely hate the "flat" look. Not only hate it, it also makes navigating windows a little more "difficult" since everything flows into each other.

I am always baffled to see how good it looks when I install Aero Glass 3rd party "to bring Aero back"...it's beyond me why MS thinks ugly is better and why people just accept this. I also remember in earlier OS there was the option to use Aero or not.

No surprise there, we don't have that option any more, we need 3rd party hacks if we want the nicer look back.

Windows 7 came out when 4GB was just becoming the standard necessary, I have/had two old laptops that ran Win 7 with 2GB of ram and turning off Aero relieved some of that lag.

The worst part is you never know exactly where to click and drag to move windows around, especially with windows that have backgrounds that are the same color as the title bar. Heck the graphical theme for 3.0 was better

Yeah, for me this started in Office 2013. Since there are no color changes, you are always guessing you are in an area that will handle your scroll or click correctly. It's something one learns to live with, since it is pretty accurate, but I would prefer to have a bit of color for clarity.

In the West. Not in Bratislava where Core 2 is new and 2GB RAM is what you will likely find. :D

The funny part is that MS knows its an issue in Edge. So unlike others, Edge got a different title bar colour.

The UI seems to be a little fad in the beginning, but I guess that I'll get used to it on the long run. It's faster and it has some need-to-have improvements, so I'm going to stick with this interface, why not?

Its windows 10 with the windows 1.0 UI.

I personally turn off all window affects but I do miss the 3D pop.
I am sure someone will make a fix in time.

Even a voice style for Cortana in time, A nice Berry White or Morgan Freeman (ie) style for the ladies and I am sure something sluttyer for the guys.
