That was just what they told you.

So just a moment ago I went upstairs for some cereal. However, I came back downstairs with a glass of milk and a spoon.

So when are you going to move out of your parent's basement?

Not that it has anything to do with the thread but I'll answer your question. I will move out when I finish college :)

Is it wrong that I find this hilarious?

I got called at 2am. It must have been 4 minutes before I realized that hitting the off button on my alarm clock wasn't making the noise stop and, in fact, alarm clocks don't RING.
Hahaha, yes. A similar thing happened to me recently... very funny story now that I think about it.

I must have been tired one day, I think I was hungover and woke up early somewhere, came home to shower, then got into bed to sleep after setting the alarm on my phone. So I sleep for a few hours and wake up to the alarm going off. I must've been really out of it for whatever reason, and I turn over and hit off on my alarm clock on my stand. Hit off again. Still beeping. C'mon turn off you stupid thing! Annoying beeping still.

WTF I wonder, why isn't this chinsy alarm clock turning off? Getting pretty frustrated and confused, I start jamming every button on the thing pretty hard, yet no dice, just the continuing beeping. Really frustrated and confused now, I picked it up and started bashing it with my hand and against the ground. Still beeping. Continue bashing it. Then unplugged it and got on the floor on the other side of my bed (more room to go all out on the thing) to proceed bashing it against the floor again. Did that for a few seconds, then...

Oops, there's my phone there, and it is the device that is beeping.

Must've looked weird to be bashing my alarm clock with my hands and against the ground.
