My son's birthday is this sunday and I'd like to rent a 360 for him and his friends while they're at the house. Does anybody do this anymore?

lemme guess your going to show him a rented car when he turns 16
a rented stripper when he turns 18
and a rented beer when he turns 21 😛
 
He doesn't get a 360 because he sold his PS2 without checking with us. Just did it. So he gets no more consoles from me.

You'd think I'd know better than to just get a straight answer.

I dont know if you have one, but I know they rent consoles. Im not sure if they rent the 360 yet though, Any other smaller shops you might try in your city. Dont know anyone you could pay 50-100 bucks or something for the day to borrow it? If its for a good cause, why not? 🙂

Did he sell it in attempt to get money for a 360? If so, I think that was a smart move on his part. Also, how much did he sell it for?

I don't think xbox360's have been distributed widely enough to have stores rent them out... I think the fear would be too many people not returning them.

Unless they charged a $350 rental deposit... which is kind of steep.

Blockbuster (IIRC) rents out consoles. I believe you have to put a $400 deposit in to rent it, and when you return to you get your deposit back.
