This is built in to Partition Magic in the last several versions. It is called "Magic Mover." I have used it and it works.

Macaffe Uninstaller also has a feature that creates a self extracting zip file that you can use to reinstall a program on another computer. I've used it, it works but you might lose some settings and whatnot.

Patition Magic's Magic Mover will move programs from one partition to another but I'm not sure about moving from one OS to another. Are you talking about moving from say Win98 to WinXP on the same system? That will not work. Also be aware that the Magic Mover program is not being included on the newer versions of Partition Magic. A real shame.

I can't really see how it would be possible. How is the program going to know each and every file that is associated with the program. It would also have to move all the registry keys as well. And if the OS is different then the one you are moving it from, there could be some problems there as well. I do not know this for sure, I have never seen a program do it.. but I guess it might be possible.
