but you do it anyway strictly motivated by wanting to improve your appearance?

last couple of days have been rough,I drag home from work then drag myself to the gym, lol,I'll be doing cardio and thinking t minus 23 minutes and counting till I can go to bed:)

I actually enjoyed going to the gym...wish I had time to do it again. :(

I was going late at night so it was just me and the 9pm-5am employee.

I hate going to the gym because it's a waste of time/money. You can get the same full body workout with using just your own body weight.

I hate it. Especially when I have friends who don't work out at all and maintain a perfect weight.

Gyms are alright, but I only go for the weights.

I much prefer to go jogging outside than on a treadmill.

I hate lifting, but I love cardio. I'm the opposite of most people I think -- the cardio actually helps me beyond my appearance (I play Ultimate and need good cardio health), so I generally like it more. :p Lifting is just boring.

I like working out but I don't like going to the gym because it's too much trouble (get there, undress, shower, redress, leave there). Maybe it would be okay if I had unlimited time.

The other things I don't like are sharing sweat and having to deal with obnoxious/unfriendly people from time to time.

I work out at home and it's fine for me.

I really like cardio so my feelings the last couple days were odd.I need to limit cardio and lift more though(according to the trainer) or I'm never going to have any muscle. I will be sore tomorrow though,I punished the lower half of my body pretty severely tonight..ouch!

not if your skinny as hell and trying to put on a lot of muscle.....anything with lots of reps or cardio = me losing weight

Kate and I have started doing this recently (they have classes for it at our gym), and it absolutely kicks our asses. Does your gym do anything like that?

I wish I had more room in my house to do more of a home setup. The few things I hate about a gym is working on equipment people have sweat all over and then getting into my truck all sweaty (Not into public showers either)

Hell no - lifting weights is the highlight of my day. I'm not doing any cardio now in the bulking up stage, but I'll be doing it twice a day when I do. I don't necessarily despise cardio but I'd rather not do it.

I guess I'm feeling discouraged realising it's going to be months and months of doing this 5-6 days a week in order to see even the smallest bit of progress.I'm going to keep going but it's a bit disheartening to know that as a tall long limbed person,I'm going to have to really work to get any kind of muscle.
