just curious really... i hate having to learn stuff on my own... i learn stuff a lot better in a class, where i'm forced to go over important but boring concepts and stuff like that. i guess i'm weird... a lot of geeks i talk to are the exact opposite. sucks for me because there are no asp.net courses at my school.
 
I'm the same way you are. I've tried to teach myself a few languages and Linux command line stuff, but I never absorb any of it. I either lose interest, or get too busy doing other things, and neglect the stuff I was trying to learn.

i feel better 🙂

in the past 2 years, i've really only learned two significant things... c/c++ and a working knowledge of unix. the former was because i took 2 classes on it, and the latter is because i need it for work... don't get me wrong, i love playing around with stuff... it's just hard to learn it 🙁
