Hockey is my favorite professional sport. I went to 5 Devils games this year, and I'll be watching as many playoff games as I can. I just get sick of watching the Devils/Flyers series on Comcast, because all they do is piss and moan and whine about how the Devils get away with anything, but the Flyers keep getting penalties. Brodeur gets run into and takes a few shots at the guy, and they're crying about no penalty on Brodeur, Esche gets run into and takes a few shots at the guy, and they're crying about no goaltender interference. Cry me a river.

The saran wrap I use on the goalposts help a lot with keeping the top corners covered

The d-men are good just to get the screening forwards out of my face

The trophy stays in the arena...each team members name is on a plate, which gets affixed on the trophy. No free t-shirts or hats for us

oh, we have a skills competition every quarter or so...winner gets a sweater from the pro shop

Wait...you mean there are other sports??!

IMO, hockey is the only sport worth watching. I have been a Boston Bruins fan for years, watch and I also have been a season ticket holder to the local AHL team, the Manchester Monarchs (LA Kings). Up here in the NE, specifically New England, hockey is big.

If all that isn't enough hockey for me, I can watch some of the best college hockey around with local hockey east teams like BU, BC, UNH, and Maine.
