I just bought the Logitech G3 mouse. I think it looks awesome and the build quality is very good. It's good for lefties like me, since all these other mice are contoured for right handed people.
The one problem I have with it is the texture on the sides of the mouse. It seems to have some kind of rubberized "non-stick" coating that they're trying to market as a "high-grip" surface.
It's slippery. Very slippery. I find my hand getting tired using it, because I have to squeeze it so my fingers don't slip on it. Normally when I use a mouse, I hold it between my thumb and fingers and move it around. Now my thumb and fingers slide around on the sides of the mouse and I contantly have to re-adjust my hand to get a grip on it.
I can't be the only person out there who finds this surface slippery, am I? My older Logitech mouse is plain plastic and I have no problems with it.
