I had the nokia 3650 (one of the first camera phones), but looking for something more PDA-styled. Anybody have a treo or blackberry that'd like to comment?

I like my 7100. I currently have the 7100t (T-Mobile) but coverage is poor where I need it so I'm moving to the 7100g version (Cingular).

Small form factor, speaker-phone & excellent mic pickup, blue-tooth, very good predictive dictionary & keyboard layout. And, it's a Blackberry.

i have a treo 650...the thing is great
works well on the web, not the greatest for chat, but great for texting, very serviceable as a phone and a pda
depends on what u want specifically as to whether i'd reccommend a treo or a blackberry or sidekick to ya

I have the Audiovox 6600 linked above.

i really like it. kind of large, but excellent feature set from Verizon Wireless. particularly, my favorite feature is EVDO which gives me 400 to 700 kb/s bandwidth most on PA/NJ/NY.

i'm considering just adding another line for this phone as my primary PDA, Email, Data device (also allows me to log in remotely to any terminal services server) and going back to my V710 as my primary phone.

really?

for me the debate really is between Windows Mobile phone and Treo, the blackberry (unless your company only supports blackberry) really can't compete with the Treo and Windows Mobile.

i do a TON of text messaging, in fact, right around 900 messages a month (in and outgoing). I can fly typing a message using predictive text on a nokia, but if I have to learn that palm scribble, i'm not sure how useful it will be to me.

I have a treo 650, its a love - hate relationship.
When it works, I love it. Especially the ability to hook my laptop up to the net pretty much anywhere in the usa.
Treo 650's tend to have a lot of problems as well though, dont get one if you dont have a lot of patience.

Haven't used the wireless sync feature yet, dont have bluetooth on my laptop. Not a big deal for me, I carry the sync cable everywhere with my laptop cause it's the easiest way to access the net on the laptop via the treo.

you don't need bluetooth to do wireless sync.

on mine, wireless sync just downloads all the emails directly from the pop server and then verizonwireless installs a program on your PC/Laptop that can send scheduling data, notes, contacts etc, from your outlook to their servers and then pushed to your wireless device.

very nice setup.

I've a treo 650. Works great for me, unlimited EDGE for 25$/mo makes it worth it. Without unlimited data service, I probably wouldn't have gotten one.

I will say that the 650 is much less stable than the Treo 180 I'm coming from.

Not sure if the treo has that, sounds very cool though. Going to look into it, will let ya know if I find anything. Do you know what the name of the program is that does it all on your phone?

Just found some stuff, as long as your on verizon you can do the mobile sync with the treo 650, I for one am not with verizon though.
