Does anybody even use Pricewatch anymore?

And for me, I don't use pricewatch anymore, it got old quickly.

If the internals are damaged from being banged around, okay. If it's marked "fragile" in 6 places, yet has TIRE TRACKS, that's the shipping company's fault (yes, this happened to me)

I use it as a baseline check. I'd spend a bit more to get from a reputable / known seller like ZipZoomFly or NewEgg or MWAVE but if there's a significant savings via pricewatch I'll use a credit card and go that route. Haven't been buying as much stuff as I used to either...

I used to think that too and then I figured out that Zipzoomfly has the same stuff and is sometimes cheaper by quite a bit AND tends to offer free 2 Day shipping on the more popular items.

Yes, but ZZF uses UPS, which for a lot of people == smashed items. What goos is a smashed mobo?

I get great service from UPS and FedEx in my area. Sucks to be where you live.

Pretty much a dead site now. I mainly use FW, Hot Deals, and TechBargains now. Rarely I buy out of need anymore. I buy because it's a good deal. Which works out to be a bad deal for my wallet in many cases.

Last time I used it was I believe looking for a Celeron (maybe 300) & that's when I discovered newegg (never used pricewatch again) & it was my first time overclocking... back when you had to change jumpers on the motherboard instead of just going in the bios.
