Does anybody else NOT like Winamp 3?

I find it much more difficul to use and more bloated than Winamp 2. Am I the only one who uninstalled it in favor of 2?

Me. My mp3 plays like crap in Winamp2, plays better in Winamp3. Why/? I don't know.

I tried 3 for a little bit, but then ran right back to 2. mostly for the fact that winamp 3 will not run in statbar.

you cant use the MMD3 skin with it. or corner amp

winamp 3 is better IMO. i had plugins for winamp2.x that let me play vids and such now winamp 3 does it for me. im happy with it

Winamp 3 takes so friggin long to load up. Too bloated. Even the video viewing mode sucks. I am sticking with ver 2.x

I need winamp to play mp3s. Winamp2 does that and thus I have no intentions of ever using winamp3. Winamp has gone through so many iterations, each one more bloated than the last, that at some point you have to say "NO".

What's funny is i was pointing out to someone the other day that RealAudio 3 was .8MB. -----> new and improved AOL version Real Audio 8.0 is 6MB.

I agree. It takes too long to load, I don't like the control system, and the video playback crashed almost as often as it worked. I'm staying with 2.x as well.

What's wrong with Winamp3?? I only use it for music and do not use it for any other purpose. I would have gone back to Winamp2.81 but my mp3s won't play without pops and clicks.

MMD is reason enought to use winamp 3

I like a few of the features of 3, but overall 2 is just faster and simpler. I've been using WMP9 lately. I figure, if I'm going to go with bloatware, why not go all the way? Actually, I do like some of WMP9's new features, especially the way it integrates right into XP's taskbar when minimized.
