Does anybody else get a kick from making really offensive jokes?

gopunk

Lifer
i dunno, i just like to make a few every once in a while, for shock value... just doing my part to desensitize the world. i only do it around my friends though, because a.) they probably won't sue me, and b.) they know i can't possibly be serious. but the weird thing is, they still get really weird when i do it.

btw, just an example... i like to refer to some minorities by obscure and funny-sounding, yet clearly derogatory names... adam on loveline does this all the time... like calling white people "round eye" and emphasizing it loudly when it's used. dunno, i just find it funny 🙂

okay another edit, i guess whites aren't minorities... well at least in this country. but you know what i mean 🙂

I have some pretty nasty banter going on with one of my friends all the time, if we can find a way to make an offensive joke, we will.
That said, I stay away from most racially offensive jokes just cause it doesn't seem right. But I'm all about insulting yer mom!

Heh heh...I do that jokingly on occasion too. Call white friends "round-eye" and say things like "If you're gonna be that much of a jerk, why don't you just enslave me?"

Heh heh. Silly yes, but of course, in Berkeley, anyone within earshot takes my side 😀

yeah, but like u said, only around friend. they know u're messing around or just fawked up like that. plus they prolly won't beat ur arse. and they can be easily bribed to forget the whole ordeal 😀

"If you're gonna be that much of a jerk, why don't you just enslave me?"

bwhaha, that's a good one... i'll have to remember that 🙂

btw, since we seem to be offensive content friendly today 😉 ...

can anyone tell me why "pussy" is offensive? nobody objects to "DICK". i mean seriously, i think the biatches who are complaining about "pussy" are being hypocrites when they use "asshole" or "dick". i mean everybody has an asshole, so they're insulting twice as many people...

I don't find "p*ssy" any more offensive than "d*ck" and use it regularly during normal, daily conversation...then again, me and a lot of the people I hang out w/on a daily basis are prior service Army so you can't really take us as normal 😛

Around my friends, I'll say some of the dirtiest, crudest, most offensive stuff you'll hear. But, it is only around my friends and they get a kick out of it. Racial slurs and the like aren't off limits as long as I'm with my friends and no one else is hearing it. It's fun to come up with insanely derogatory remarks that you know you'd never say to anyone in person.

<< OT: reading gopunks last post reminded me of this 😛 BTW, is it possible to be OT in a OT thread? >>

Heh heh...So if you're OT in the OT forum, does that really make you *on* topic? 😛

Among friends, insults are common fair. Even racial slurs. Everyone knows that it isn't serious, and we never do it to people we don't know.

exactly.

it's tough though... i frequently feel like saying them to people i don't know very well, because they act so serious and forlorn...

Yes. The more outrageously offensive, the better.
A few years ago, my friends got a kick out of making jokes about killing/eating babies even (just to be completely offensive). We still sometimes tell people "your baby looks delicious." They usually just laugh, or look confused. Making fun of dead people is pretty funny too sometimes.
Racial jokes are pretty typical too. They usually make little sense such as using the wrong stereotpyes for certain races (because everyone knows blacks control the media), or making up stereotypes (jews can fly, by the way), or telling my white friends they like chicken because they're black.
Sometimes though, a good normal racist comment is just what the doctor ordered. None of us are racist by any means, and we live in a predominantly black neighborhood (they make fun of us all the time).

Edit -

I know exactly how you feel.

Hmm.. it would be really interesting to meet people even half as offensive as my friends and I can be.. I don't think there's anything we joke about that isn't far, far beyond the limits of good taste. Everything from necrophilia to your mom to fisting orifices to...you get the picture.

I think my group of friends could give yours' a run for your money 😉

Nothing particularly shocks or offends me anymore, but I don't tend to find that type of stuff humorous. I just shrug and let it be, whatever, if you have to resort to that type of humor to try and make me laugh, you're really scraping the bottom of the barrel. No point in being offended if the person doesn't mean to offend. But I don't make those jokes and typically don't hang around those that do, because they're not funny enough to make me laugh. 😛
