Does any of this toothpaste with whitening agent actually work?

Since I had a cappuccino everyday in the morning at highschool and start smoking cigars a bit too often, my teeth look bad...

This whitening stuff isn't working, anyone have any advice?

Never tried the toothpaste stuff but I can say from expirence that Colgate Simply White Night Clear Whitening Gel does work, is easy to use, and is cheap.

Ever heard of people who have an "addiction" to home teeth whitening products? I think I saw it on Dr. Phil... sores on their gums, teeth freakishly white...

I do believe bleach is a poison...and besides isn't the active ingredient in most of those teeth whiteners peroxide?

the stop-smoking whitening agent will work in your case

What! Cigars are fricken delicious!
you eat them?

actually, they smell like rolled turds.

No, they taste good...

By the way, how do you what a rolled turd smells like? Let alone find a rolled turd...

reminds me of my sister. she wanted to whiten her teeth years ago before all this stuff was easy to find at a walmart or some such. so she goes to the dentist, gets a $400 mold of her teeth made. i asked her why....since she was using a gel and didnt need a mold, but anyway, she only got a mold of her *upper teeth* and as such, bleached only her upper teeth.

looked damn funny for a while, normalish teeth on the bottom, sparkling white on top :)

no

I find the crest white strips work, but then they just go back to almost how they were in a month. And it's not like I'm drinking tons of coffee or soda, and I've never smoked a day in my life, ...etc, so I'm think the stuff more fakely dyes your teeth than actually getting rid of stains.

It seems to work for me, but then again I brush my teeth for periods of time longer than most people (~8 minutes or so).

just go to your dentist and ask. the bleeching trays will cost you anywhere from 200-400 bucks but you can reuse the molded trays and save money down the line if you decide to do periodic touch-ups. if you want instant whiteness go get laser whitening done from some place like Britesmile or ask your dentist. ill probably be getting some laser bleaching done once my braces come off.

white strips work ok but the strips dont fit all of your teeth. if your teeth are really bad from the smoking you're going to see a big difference btw. the color of your fronth teeth and your back ones (i think the strips only fit over about 6 of my uppers and 6 lowers)

The whitening toothpaste seemed to work for me. It certainly doesn't make them bleached white, but it does remove some light stains given you brush regularly over a long period of time. I'm just an occasional coffee and tea drinker so that was all that I needed.
