Does America wonder why they are the ones to be the most at risk from other countries? Does anyone know why or how it could be changed?

They are also envy our freedom. The rare one also feels we are being oppressed by a tyranical government.

What countries are you talking about? Are you talking about Iraq? We aren't the most at risk, we have the foresight to realize that if he goes unchecked history will repeat itself and the region will be even more unstable. This will cause us to have to react instead of prevent and that is always harder. Thankfully it appears that other countries have also realized this and there will be broad support for some kind of (hopefully diplomatic) action in regards to Iraq.

Just kidding. There are no easy answers to the Iraq problem. All the countries over there are torn b/t sticking w/their thousand year old tenent of "support Arabs and kill Americans" and "Arabs are all dying off...maybe we should rethink the whole "Great Satan" thing." Only time will tell.

what do you think anti-americanism is dumb@ss? the reason anti-americanism exists is because america is the most wealthy, powerful, and successful nation on the planet. anti americanism = jealousy. oh and btw america IS the most important country on the plant because we have the most powerful economy and military.

Sorry, but America IS, without a doubt, the most important country on this planet. That has nothing to do with our country being "better" but we certainly are the most important. If not because of our economy and military then even for our darker side like pollution and energy use.

America is always the cop of the world (I dont mean that this is a bad thing), we always interfere with problems everywhere.... maybe other people are just sick with this......
i can assure you that i am in no way jealous of your country, the only thing i can see that is worthy of jealousy is the economy, things are cheaper in the us, but this is balanced by people here earning more money

everyone in the world wishes they were part of the wonder that is america.
