Does AMD Dual Core fix the 4 Stick Memory Problem?

Hey guys I was wondering if the new AMD Dual Core chips fix the 4 stick memory problem?

Currently right now I have a Asus A8V socket 939 motherboard. I have 1T ram, but when I stuck in 1T ram into all 4 slots it lowers the speed and forces it up to 2T, or else it won't run.

I heard some of the newer AMD chips fixed this problem, but I was wondering do the dual cores fix the problem?

Thanks for the help.

You can run 4 dimms @ DDR400, but it will be @ 2T unless you can find 4 dimms of single-sided RAM.

yeah, if you have single sided dimms, usually the 256mb sticks or less, you can run 4 at ddr400 1T

Thanks guys that's good to know. I just didn't want to buy a new dual core AMD CPU and find that my DDR 400 has to run underclocked and at 2T rates.
