well I placed an order of something from a seller there and havent received it yet. They usually dispatch within 2 days or so.

have any of you ever ordered from Amazon.co.uk? and how long do they take to deliver?
 
IIRC I ordered either a dvd or a textbook from there before. It took at least a week after I got a shipping confirmation notice for it to arrive.

EDIT: And it definitely arrived within a month. If you ordered July 5, then it should have arrived long long ago.
 
email the seller with your order # and purchase date. If that doesn't work amazon has a seller guarantee you should read up on.

a lot of the time amazon.com doesnt have the stuff one is looking for, while amazon.co.uk does.

i do most of my shopping from amazon.com however

Yeah, I though about that a few minutes ago, that an UK only released stuff... Give it some time.
 
I ordered a textbook from Amazon.co.uk and it took them about a week to process the order and about 3 weeks for delivery. I saved a lot of money but my class was almost halfway over by the time I received the book. My advice is order EARLY! You'll save tons of money buying from the UK.

Jan. 5th? It hasn't even been that long. No need to freak out just yet.

But if you're interested in ordering a book from the UK, you should try Blackwell's, who doesn't charge for shipping to the US.

I purchased a book from them and I watched the shipping path- they shipped it from the UK to a drop point in the US.
Shipping really kills it from Amazon.co.
 
I ordered a dvd form there before....wasn't available in us. Also bought my region/code-free and ntsc/pal switchable dvd player.

Got everything quick through the air mail.
 
well guys, I was patient and after ordering on January 5th I finally got my order delivered today!!! YES!!!

on the 18th of January. Thank you Amazon UK. :thumbsup:
