Does AGP need to be set to 67mhz for PCI/AGP lock?

My friend has a Gigabyte K8NS non ultra s939 motherboard. I know those of you with MSI boards need to set your AGP frequency to 67mhz to enable the PCI/AGP lock, but is that the same with this board, or rather all s939 boards?

My friend will also want to disable CPU spread spectrum, correct?
He's about to overclock.

I heard that from someone else, but I doubt it's true for all boards. I would use 66 if it's available, 67 as a second choice. Yes, you disable spread spectrum.

I don't have a Gigiabyte, but I've always just done this out of habit. I never trust the default setting.

On the Neo2 Plat..set it to 67 to lock agp/pci bus...not sure for other mobos
