Does a Shuttle AK31 Rev. 2.0 work with the Athlon XP?

I'm sorry, I'm kinda a newbie to building comps. I just bought a Shuttle AK31 Rev. 2.0 a week before I heard about the Rev. 3.1. I waited to buy a processor, cause I heard about the XP coming out. I was wondering, would my Shuttle Rev. 2.0 work with an Athlon XP 1600. I'd apreciate any replies. Thanks.
 
It most have as anandtech in his kt266a review used this board with xp processors...I highly recommend you read that review...
 
I know the Rev. 3.1 works with the Athlon XP, but I was wondering if my Rev. 2.0 works with Athlon XPs
 
Yes. The newer boards shipping come with the updated BIOS that should recognize the XP chips as well. It should be a plug-n-play affair.
