Does a commercial ever get on your nerves so bad you'd NEVER buy whatever it was hocking?

There is this stupid commercial for some new resort in vegas called the "tahiti village" and they are trying give away a "free" trip. (timeshare stuff I think)

The woman has the most annoying voice I have ever heard, and it gets played almost every commercial break. She sounds like she is on drugs or drunk
 
yes many times in my life even if it is somethign i normally buy i will stop buying it or at least stop until thememory of the commercial is gone
can't remember anything specific at the moment though
 
THere's a local used car lot that has the most annoying commercials. You here a collective groan from everyone at work when it comes on.

They usually re-word a popular song for their jingle. Then, when you think it can't get any worse, they come up with a different, more annoying one :|



Any commetial that doesn't say what it is they're trying to sell. I've seen several over the years that after watching, i say to myself, "what the (beep) was that commercial about!?!?"

Pat Summerall for Duxiana Beds. It's the only bed you will ever need. My wife and I just bought a new Duxiana Bed, because they improved it!

Okay dude, either it's the only bed you'll ever need, therefore you won't need a new one; or it's new and improved.

those charles schwab ads where it's hybrid animation live action ads.

i will not watch a show b/c those ads are aired
 
I do not know if it is a southern thing (Charlotte, NC) , or if car dealers are just in general this retarded. Obviously these individuals have never heard of marketing, because they think that the best way to sell cars, is to get their wife/daughter/themselves in some annoying commercial where they are screaming, in costumes and generally acting retarded. Seems to be Kia/Hyundai/Suzuki attracts the really stupid dealer ads ARGH!!!!! The local most hated is Donald Craig Suzuki, just thinking about it makes me stressed.

also some dude hocking windows. he says great like tony the tiger. STFU!!!!!!!!

but one that really made me to actually boycott a product that i do buy were those rats on the quiznos commercials. my wife and i couldnt run fast enough to turn off the tv when that stupid commercial came on.


oh and the trucking ads and connect-to-my-pc commercials on XM. ugggg

All of the time. Commercials have a big effect on me. If a commercial is bad, I probably won't buy the product. If it's good, it has no effect on me.

There are some *bad* commericals out there.

I refuse to eat McDonalds until they stop with their coffee waking you up to life commercials. I want to physically harm the marketing company who made those. I dont know which I hate more the guy realizing hes married or the girl who realizes she has a twin, who is the same age as her.

Ahh rage towards marketing.


P.S. the sony PS3 commercial with the baby doll scares me, but the rubicks cube one is awesome.

Rockys Auto commercials are pretty horrible. Especially when they start cross dressing as each others mothers and all the weird stuff they have done. Plus who the hell cares if you sell the cleanest cars in Colorado. I want a RELIABLE car, not one that is spotless, ill take some dirt on the carpet if it runs well.

Also, "De Quiznosss subs, dey subs are toaaasstttyyy" Love it 🙂

QFT...to this day i have not and will not buy a Quiznos sub.

 
OK i now have one! the commercials for the show Dirt on TNT!!!!! everytime a show on TNT goes to commercial they have an ad for Dirt with Courtney, all the commercials SUCK and they all have the same music in the background "this time you've gone to far" etc and it is sooooooo annoying! worst thign is the show won't even start airing until i think december or january and the commercial has been airing so often since mid september.
i don't care how good or bad the show is or who is in it i will AVOID this show like VD

I don't know about many of the new commercials, but I swore I'd never use Verizon, go to Outback Steakhouse after seeing their commercials. I hate the I'm Lovin' It commercials too.
 
Prescription drug commercials, they show nothing but a bunch of happy people, and they never mention what the drug is for. Apparently there's a lot of happy pills around?
