Does a commercial ever get on your nerves so bad you'd NEVER buy whatever it was hocking?

This time of year, and also around valentine's day, the jewelry stores always seem to have a radio ad on every 10 minutes, and they annoy me so much i go vow to never shop there and even change the station. don't the radio stations do any sort of marketing research to see which ads annoy the everloving hell out of people?

Just about every time I am annoyed by a commercial I boycott the product. However, chances are better than not that I wouldn't purchase it anyway. 🙂

if you're ever in the upstate NY area (around Syracuse) you will see these ads on TV (and painted on buses - yes, the ENTIRE bus) for this fat dude named Fuccillo... he sells cars, and his commercials always involve him saying the word "huge" in some annoying manner

because of him, ill never buy a hyundai 😛
