yes, it does (assuming that you mean that you already kinda have to sneeze already).

the reason it does is because it causes your eyes to tear up a little bit and add irritation to whatever's going on inside your nose. so the receptors fire to your brain telling it "yo, there's more shyt in here than i thought... i gotta get it out asap!," so you sneeze.

Yep.

No, not at all...

My Fiancee however, if on the verge of sneezing already - will look at a light, or glance quickly at the sun and then she will sneeze...

However - I personally think it's just because it makes her close her eyes... If you are on the verge of sneezing, and you close your eyes you will probably sneeze.

Yes, but only with sunlight. Usually happens when I head out of my building at work for lunch or morning meetings... 1-2 sneezes and then I'm back to normal!

Definitely makes me sneeze. Sometimes, if I have to sneeze but can't, I'll just go outside and glance at the sun. Gives me a double sneeze every time. As others said, this only works one good time. I can't go back out 5 minutes later and do it again. And synthetic light doesn't have the same effect.

Yes. Sunlight will get a good 2-3 sneezes out of me when walking out the door. Also, if I am about to sneeze, looking at a bright indoor light helps (like looking right at a lightbulb).

Phew, thought i was the only one. Strange thing though. I recently ran out of contacts and started wearing glasses (last few weeks) until I get my new order. Barely happens now, where before (3-4 weeks ago) all my coworkers got use to hearing me sneeze 2-3 times the second we got outside. I'll have to start taking notes and see if it comes more consistently when I get my new contacts!

A long time ago I heard on the radio that they have found that sneezing in bright sunlight is a genetically inherited trait.
