*Does a Anonymous Proxy really work when you config your browser?*

I tried to set up my browser to use a proxy server and it doesn't work. I can still see my ISP IP address.

If it does work, I shouldn't see my IP address, right?

Any recommendations?

well i have tried a couple of ports, however, every time i try one, i can not get to that site to check if i am anonymous or not. damn this sucks.

I appear to have been able to do it, atleast i went to some IP finder sites and they said they "do not use robots to access this site" so i am assuming my ip was not found. however, there are a couple of sites that i cant visit by using this proxy. i dont know if youll have similar luck.
