Does 3Com always return Refurbed Junk

I hope this is in the right forum!!!

My experince with 3COM has been a disaster.
I have tried to rma 2-NICs since march/00.
So far they have sent me bad cards 3 times.
All have been scratched, had burned out pulse mods, etc..
I tried to tell them after the 3rd time that I only wanted new cards this time BUT they stated they are the rma dept. they don't have any new cards only repaired units.

Well holyZhit they must not be repaired cards.

What do you all think?
What if anything can be done about this?
Any Sugestions?

Yes, start using D-Link, SMC, or Intel 10/100 NIC's.

Intel is the best IMHO, but D-Link and Realtek aren't bad if you're on a budget.

I have started to switch every thing for now on over to Baystack, Netgear but

what can we do to let this company know that there service now a days is crap and should no longer be tolerated by anyone ?
