I'm looking forward to an SRT-8 version of the Challenger. 😀

Now imagine if they rather shoe-horned the Viper's 10 into the Challenger for a limited edition SRT-10 🙂

I still think the SRT4 engine in an Elise would be an f'ing BLAST.

ive always wanted to see an elise with the srt4 motor and transmission. that would be the best elise EVER.

did you not read the rules? they are allowed to modify the motor and suspesion, and thats it. either or, its faster then any other 4 cylinder thats competed. kudos to dodge yo.

That's my point. 700-800hp is nowhere near stock. They said they punched it out to 3.0l and must have done quite a bit to get it to that level of power output.

It is impressive but I still think that headline is misleading.

the srt-4 is not considered a neon. no where in sales brochures are they mentioned of being a one. They in fact have their own brochures. I was going to buy one when they first came out, but decided that a 20k car w/o rear power windows was a waste of money. The engine, and other drivetrain components are very well made, despite being cheap american crap.
