Dodge Razor!!!

OK, OK, so it is still a concept right now (but so was Viper, Prowler, and SRT-4)!

If they pull this one off, sign me up!!!! Go Dodge!!!!!!!

TARGET PRICE - $14500!!!!!!??????

Wow, Neon in a new kit.

The speed is nice, but seriously, its just another variation to shake the Neon haters.

Yea, that's a great car...

It has power, sure, but no AC, power anything, etc...

Maybe good for racing, but who would buy that for every day driving?

Whoa...didn't notice that. How dumb.

The last time I looked, the Neon was front wheel drive, this is a new platform, not a rehash of the old.

IF it makes it to production, they will do a "normal" dodge interior, bump the price 5k and lower the engine specs.

<---you heard it here first.

EDIT: If it ever did make it to production with those specs and price, you'd have to get in line behind me.

This car has been rumored to make production for nearly 2 years now.
It looks sorta like the Z.

I don't see how they can undercut the price of the SRT-4 by that much, even without the power accessories.

since when was the Neon RWD?

The Razor is meant for people who want to go fast and race. If i bought that to autox, i wouldnt want AC, radio, etc.

Because it's a dirt cheap weekend car. Nothing more, nothing less. It's a car you hop in on Sunday and tear around the country side in. I think it looks great, and should be a blast to drive. This is trying to strike the same vein as the Pontiac Solstice that everyone drools over. This one just happens to be a hardtop.

Just a side note, but there was a Solstice coupe concept in addition to the convertible. Not sure if both will be going into production.

The Solstice had a hardtop version also.

Like the Solstice, the Razor was introduced at the 2002 NAIAS. The difference has been that GM has continued to talk about possibly producing the Solstice, trying to develop a platform for it and even building test cars. The Razor is still little more than a rumor. I'd rather see the Solstice produced anyway, I think it looks much better.

Hell at that price I'll buy one, but I doubt it will make it to production. It's a pipedream methinks. In AL at least you NEED AC if you want to drive this in the summer, and I'd need a stereo, so that throws $2k on the price already 🙁

I like the concept, but I don't think this will fly.

If I want cheap speed a used Z28 or SS Camaro will be faster (potential <5s 0-60), and have all the normal comforts - AC, a stereo, etc. Not to mention the potential of a NA 5.7L. You're not going to wring much more out of that little 4.

Then again, I do somewhat doubt their performance claims. 0-60 only sub 6s? With that much power & 2500 lbs I would expect faster.

Viper GTS

but can you fling that around a race track like a lightweight?
