Dodge Rampage concept
Here's a wild concept: Bolt a 5.7-liter Hemi V8 into a unibody truck chassis-and send all 345 hp to the front wheels. If that isn't enough to get your attention, consider that the Dodge Rampage sport/utility truck concept offers sliding rear doors, a flexible mid-gate, a drop-down tailgate that doubles as a loading ramp, and space under the bed for hauling four-by-eight-foot sheets of plywood. Even if nothing else makes production, look for this new face of Dodge to appear on future models.

it takes the Avalanche midgate, a Minivan doors, a FWD chassis, an innovative tailgate, and the Ridgelines bed, and the Stow Away seats.

interesting.

Hopefully DC won't make the mistake Honda did by actually bringing this ugly thing to market.

I like the "classic" rampage better, but it would be awesome if it ever came to production.

Not bad really. It's not the best thing under the sun, but I could live with it.

Even in the 80s I don't think it was ever intended to replace a real pickup truck

A RAMPAGE updated for 2006 :)

whoa dodge had an el camino? (in the 80s?!?)

yup, all big 3 did, and the dodge is the most forgotten about i believe, with the Ford being next.

My dad was crazy enough to buy one brand new. They have a cult following now mostly with people wanting to slap the 2.2/2.5l turbo engines in them.
