Why didn't they just call it a NEON again?? Looks the same in the profile photo.
Those pictures were taken in Nashville!

It looks like a neon with a different front and rear...
It looks nothing like the Neon and isn't even related to it...

Sorry, I have to disagree. It does have Neon type styling.

I did a search on Google and have found articles that also noticed the similar styling.

"The Darts body is curvy and slightly coke-bottle in shape, slightly reminiscent of the Neon in its greenhouse."
http://www.autoblog.com/2012/01/07/this-is-the-2013-dodge-dart-w-video/
"the Dart appears attractive and well-balanced to our eyes, looking almost like the Dodge Neon never stopped being developed."

"the Dart looks less like a successor to the never-fully-realized Caliber compact, and more like a generation-removed replacement for the Dodge Neon."
http://rumors.automobilemag.com/dod...-soon-to-be-replaced-by-dodge-dart-97007.html
This talks about how the Caliber was was a replacement for the Neon and the Dart is a replacement for this. It's the same car class and does take design cues from those cars.
So I'll have to disagree with you and I feel it looks similar to an updated Neon. IMHO.![]()
