She puts out on the first date!

A lot of women once they hit 30 or so do.

However; that first date doesn't always end at ones door...as they just bounce after the drinks or dinner if not totally interested (as do the guys by that age unless they are just horn dogs looking for anything).

damn... i really hoped they were gonna continue the storyline with The Silence, and instead they made it into a bs episode like Midnight.

@disappointed.

The story arcs are long, if you want rapid fire watch Hollywood Housewives.

i'm starting to understand why people around here have a bad opinion about you.

would you care to explain why you think i want "rapid-fire" story arcs;

do you even watch doctor who. do you know what the silence story arc is about, and why it is important?

I have watched doctor who since the 70's.

You may want to acclimate yourself to the Story Arcs in the series and how some took a long time to play out: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Story_arcs_in_Doctor_Who

i thought "listen" was ok, at points pretty good and others pretty bad. lots of circular timelines, and there were some large logic flaws in there:

why did pink just conveniently forget about being called rupert?
why was his grandson wearing the spacesuit from the satan episode?
the end of the universe had already been depicted a few years ago, and it was different.
the tardis struggles to reach the end of the universe in those episodes, but humans do it accidentally on the first shot?
if they were afraid of nothing, then wtf was under the blanket?
how did clara know about the war doctor in the barn? (more "don't tell me you're great, show me" in that scene, which has been moffat's biggest crutch. that and pure nonsense)

those faults aside, easily 1 of the better moffat episodes. from what we've seen of the upcoming stuff, it looks like a re-tread of the whole river song fiasco.

Yeah - I'm a little pissed off about that last episode. Seems like a pretty big list of liberties to take considering how Moffat usually inter-connects things pretty well.

you are long on bs and short on answers

WTF are you talking about? Do you want me to simply answer "Yes, I am aware of the Silence story arc"?

It's been going on several episodes/seasons now; if you are looking for every episode to be the whole long story arcs playing out, then you don't know anything about Doctor Who.

Bad Wolf and some others went on very long.

alright, those last 2 episodes were terrible. i mean stunningly, violently, the phantom menace terrible.

yeah Dalek and Sherwood are pretty much disposable episodes that look like they were done well before capaldi and crew got a handle on the chemistry. although some of the weakness of sherwood could be from the edit/cutting of the sheriff-bot beheading scene.

but starting with Listen, they have have been taking some real chances and its paying off. Listen, Mummy on Orient Express, and Flatline are probably some of the strongest eps of the moffat era. Jamie Mathieson is my nominee to take over as showrunner.

3 episodes left for the series8.

The 'Listen' episode was one of the best Dr Who episodes I've seen since the series restarted in 2005.

The current season otherwise has been mediocre, but better than a lot of the previous seasons.

It started off okay with the premiere, but the second episode onward, aside from the Sherwood one, up to the Orient Express have been pretty meh to me. Last two were good. Bit too much focus on Clara's relationship. First season with Amy had the same issue.
