Who even makes internal cable modems? I know 3Com made some for a minute, but they seems to have left the cable modem game.

Zoom has one DOCSIS modem (pdf datasheet), and this was the only one I found. Any other modems you recommend besides toshiba?

my motorola surfboard has worked well. It's the sb4100 model. I have it hooked up via the usb port, and have had no trouble at all with it.

they have a toshiba cable modem at newegg for 115 bucks. That one works pretty well.

Another one for the Toshiba... PCX1100U... no probs... and damn fast. But Toshiba just came out with the PCX2000... so check that one out too.
