Is there anyway with ObjectDock to have the whole new taskbar to take up the whole bottom part of the screen like the taskbar does when not hidden ? I tried doing this but could never get it to do it.

No talking about when you click on the minimized window icons to bring the program back open. That effect.

Oh yea, it does that.

Maybe add spacers to stretch the bar. I think that might squash your minimized apps at the edge of the bar though.

How ? What effect or theme do I have to pick so it gives the same effect as in Window 7 ?

Maybe I misunderstood. I guess you mean the extra slow expanding window? I don't think you can do that without tweaking Windows Explorer, or using a completely different window manager.

Not sure if you know what I am talking about but I thought that was pretty cool with the new taskbar in windows 7.

You can pretty much do anything you want - or maybe I should say - anything I want with the free version.

If you want to do more than you want, you'll have to pay for it.

LoL!

I'm telling ya - it's like dope!

EDIT

If it makes you feel any better, StarDock WindowBlinds is even worse!

I run that on my W2K Pro/Intel P4 Extreme Edition machine!

Wait 'til ppl start bugging YOU about ObjectDock... You'll see! :D

I tried StarDock a while back and got rid of it because it used to many system resources the same could happen. It does seem to use a lot of ram ObjectDock compared to the other free one.

Hrm...

I just looked and it's only using 9808KB on this machine.

EDIT

Just ran that through the calc - it's 0.0094GB

Looks like a found a way to get the exact windows 7 look with the the new taskbar in my Vista 64 bit. That is without installing a extra program to boot!
