My take.

uh... do you even realize what the game is all about?

I personally am disappointed by the exploitive nature of this title.

Helping the geek-image or not? Who cares? If you'd have gone to E3 last year this was easily one of the hits of the show, and the hot chicks at the booth i'm sure didn't help the geek image either, but this game isn't supposed to - it's supposed to be a fun, guy game. Rate it by what it's supposed to be and if it reached that mark or not. All video game makers put out a game that's supposed to be either a scary, good game, a fun, good game, an action-packed, fun, good game... and some hit and some miss.

Gamespot - 6.0 - Ouch

IGN gave it a 9.2

My personal rating would be around an 8.5 or so.

whats up with that...gamespot usually rates a little lower than IGN but this time its a huge difference. Are the guys at gamespot gay?

No they have a biased team of reviewers.

The best way to calculate the REAL ratings is to add 2 points to an Xbox review under 7.0, 1 point to a review under 9.0.
For PS2 games, subtract 1 point for the real score.

Gamespot has been having really sh!tty reviews lately though... and you ever check out their hardware reviews? Total junk! Especially from the multimedia-sound side. (Klipsch 5.1 speakers are the BEST thing that I have EVER heard! - um.. yeah.. and you're a magazine reviewer for speakers, and Klipsch 5.1 are the BEST things you've ever heard hmm? haven't heard much there eh)

Volleyball?

not JUST volleyball 😉

UGO interview of Tecmo

quote: Having nudity will not necessarily mean will receive a Adults Only rating. Rated R movies is like having a Mature rating in a way. The game will not suffer in gameplay, just imagine the fluidness of DOA3 but playing VolleyBall. Plus, it's not only a VolleyBall game
