DOA Mobo or something else?

Two weeks ago my PSU died, so I got a replacement one a week later, but then I found out that it took out my mobo as well. And I just got a replacement mobo, but when I try to power it up nothing turns on at all. Power SW hooked up to mobo along with the psu 24 pin cable, but nothing will turn on at all when I hit the power button. Is this just a DOA mobo?

What happened when you first replaced the PSU? Did you get power then?
Is there a power LED on the new motherboard?

Please provide some details of the equipment, symptoms, steps taken etc. It will help people help you

When I replaced my PSU there was power to the led and fans but nothing else and the monitor just has a blank screen. Even posted the problem on this forum and it was deduced it was a dead mobo.
On the new mobo the power LED doesn't even turn on.

I have a core 2 duo 6300 gt
antec ea 500
antec sonata ii
just got the msi p43 mobo
8600 gt
2x1gb + 2x512mb ram

Break the system down to just the minimum. Pull that extra RAm out and try to start it with just a single 1Gb DIMM. There is a good cahnce the RAM isn't getting enough power and thats one of the problems. Also make sure you have no shorts, that there are no extra standoffs under the board making contact with the board rather then a mounting hole. Also double check all connections.
