I end friendships with anyone who is racist, this has largely eliminated rightwing individuals from my group of friends. Not entirely, just like 85% of them.
So you are ending "friendships" because people don't agree with your liberal echo chamber buddies here. How shocking, and how (in)tolerant of you. Open your mind and stop being told what to believe by the bought-out media like CNN, Washpo. One day you'll wake up and realize who paid for what you believe, and how what you believe are outright lies.

I get it, you're a Trump fan so being a piece of shit racist is a plus to you among your friends. Those of us who aren't made up primarily of hatred and feces however are unwilling to accept people we call friends being bigots. I'm sure you go to KKK meetings like most other people go to cocktail mixers, but I'm actually not a worthless human being like you.

That's not what Jaskalas is saying at all. bozack, you simply don't seem to understand the concept of true friendship or of community. There are any number of folks I could call on for help if I really needed it. In turn, I have been there for many of them when they needed some assistance.

For instance, before I was married and it was just me and I was moving from one apartment to another, along with other folks, eight of my buddies with pick-up trucks showed up. Eight! It was impressive even to me seeing them lined up down the long lane to my place. To have a friend you simply need to be a friend.

I happen to like people.

Also, I have always "gotten involved" and come to the assistance of anyone I've come across looking like they could use a helping hand. The way I'm wired, I simply couldn't not.

In fact, it's funny but now, in this age of cell phones, I've finally learned that I needn't get out of my car when I see someone broken down on the side of the road because they've already called for assistance. I roll down my window and ask anyway. Why the fusk not? I don't even begin to understand all those who don't.

This thread was about excluding folks from your life if they don't happen to share similar beliefs and more specifically political values, I commented on his reply as it seemed to me to be rather self serving in the way which it was worded regardless of if the intent was as such.

Putting your bloviated reply aside I will stand by my statement that his reply and the general sentiment of this thread comes off as cold, but from what I have witnessed tonight on Social Media from some of my so called "progressive" friends I am not at all shocked.
