Do your coworkers smell?

Im sensitive to odors. So when you had younger dudes walk by bathed in some AXE or some other cheapass cologne, or women with their feminine body spray, etc., Id get bowled over. I had a fan on my desk when the a/c wasnt set to my liking but that didnt keep the odors away.

So I bought some Renuzit, twisted open the lid and placed it front of the fan....ahhhh...spring rain at my command. People actually liked the smell and asked me to open it when others would try to eat lunch at their desk (when others where trying to work) and they didnt want to smell fried fish in the next cubicle.

The funny thing is sometimes people would take their shoes off nearby so I would put it on top of the cubicle wall to send them a hint. They thought it was rude. I just 'ed. Like airing out your smelly ass feet isnt rude? Please.

my old cubicle mate was the IT lady. she wore too much Oscar de la Renta perfume.

one cube over is the Booger Bandit. he's just a stinky f*cker and downright nasty

there are little chunks of dried skin all over the floor underneath his chair. my buddy shares that cube with him, and he insisted that i check it out. the guy is a freak... i don't think he showers. he clips his toenails @ work. he wipes snot on everything. every few weeks he comes to lean on my cube wall and talk about computers. i think he is getting the hint. last time he started with, "i know you don't like talking computers with me, but..."

I'm also equipped with a sensitive nose so I tend to smell a lot of things that people don't. What's really sick is if a friend farts or burps, I know who delt it because of the way it smells. 😛 Yeah, it's pretty gross...I like to think of myself as having a dog-like sense of smell! 😀 When I go shopping for air fresheners, soaps, and fabric softeners, I often have to hold my breath because the smell is so strong that it, quite literally, takes my breath away.

There's several co-workers that stink pretty bad at work after being here for a few hours. I have no problems letting them know they smell and I'm quite blunt about it. We even installed a wall air freshener unit in one guy's office because no one would go in there due to the stench!

My coworkers don't, but I used to have a roommate who did. He was Belgian, from the French-speaking part of the country to boot. Luckily it was a large enough apartment that I didn't always have to be around him, but I remember the month or so between when he moved out and when I left. It took a couple weeks for his room to start smelling normal again.

Happend to me this morning at the gym, some lady working out next to me stunk. She had the nastiest cheap perfume ever! I keep trying to move away but her funk made its way towards me to the point I was nauseous until lunch time today.

Surprisingly they don't. I work in an office where I am the only guy, but i rarely notice their perfume. At least they don't' smell like B.O. I guess.

For the most part everyone is okay except one. She wears this nasty ass smelling "old lady" perfume all the time and it lingers everywhere. Ew.

Its called powder. You have to be over 70 to buy it. 😛

NEVERMIND I just realized one of my coworkers is a heavy smoker and I can smell a nauseating stale cigarette stench whenever he walks out of his cubicle. Luckily he's not in the office much, and when he's just at his desk I can't smell him.

..well, they're always warming up rehydrated squid so go figure. the place smells like fishermans warf and all the microWaves have a dried squid smelling exhaust.

There's a old dude here that has an odd smell and his whole office smells like it too. Hard to explain. I'm guessing it's a side effect of a medication he's taking.

No smells but the worst was when I had a summer job doing data entry and this other guy had the sniffles all the time... let's just say he never used a tissue, and he continued pounding away at the keys... nasty.

The building I used to work in had an intake vent in the kitchen. Why anyone would put one there is beyond me. When someone burned microwave popcorn, warmed up broccoli, etc. EVERYBODY knew it about it.

It would be forgivable if she was over 70, but she is 25. 😕

Yes constant sniffling is extremely annoying in a quiet office environment. For four years I had to endure a lady who would clear her throat ALL DAY LONG. I was there 17 years and almost quit several times. She drove me up the wall with that damn throat clearing.

Just because she has to do this doesnt mean I have to like it. She did this eight hours a day for four years. At least 20 or more deep throated clears per hour. I wore shooting range ear plugs, but it was all I could do.

Most don't, but a couple do, so I voted yes.

I remember one day going to lunch with a couple coworkers, we step into the elevator and one goes "it smells like [smelly employee] in here!" and we all agreed.

I was being sarcastic. Obsessive throat clearing is just a tic, an annoying one at that. I purposely farted in the direction of the girl behind me in a high school class years ago because she wouldn't stop clearing her throat. It was once every 15 seconds.

What gets me at the office is coffee breath. The older guys drink a few cups throughout the day and you don't want to be downwind during a conversation.

I shower 15 minutes or so before I come to work. I don't bother wearing cologne.

I had one coworker who I always thought smelled kinda funky, but he and I don't work together anymore (he still works here, but we got moved to opposite shifts and have no overlap with eachother)

Not that I noticed.
Lizette smells, HOT!
She needs to stop wearing that perfume, I'm not getting any work done.

As for me, I just switched to Dial antibacterial and I dont smell nearly as bad as I used to.
