and vice versa, i suppose. i only ask because there are some uber-fvckt4rdz out there that make me cringe sometimes.

No. I've been in the south so long that it has started to effect my speech and I hate it. :(

Not usually.

I'm definitely more formal in my typing then I am when I speak, but I suppose some elements of my how I speak, etc show up in my posts/writing.

me too, well, except the hate thing. people like texas accents for some reason.

If I typed the way I speak, then it will be laced with lot of profanities.:p So not usually.

Like are the words the same as they would be if I was speaking them? In general, yes, but there are exceptions to that rule. When you are writing you have more time to think about what you are putting down.

kind of...I mean, my accent doesn't come through (i don't see how that's possible, really), but I do write what i would have said....:confused:

I try to, it annoys me when people post things like this

I make sure I always spell things correctly in business emails, it just looks so unprofessional when you see an email littered with bad grammar and typos.
