Black Rhinos, if I recall correctly, were another attempt by the media to hype "cop killer" bullets, when in reality they were just a stupid capped hollowpoints with a few BB's inside.

Actually, the Black "Rhino" was a hoax. It was the Black "Talon" that was pulled from the market.

<< Only police and the military should have guns. Private citizens should be banned from owning them. Then we'd finally have no more murders. >>

I do hope your kidding. (*EDIT* I read on more and realized you probably were thank god ;))

The larger majority of guns in more threatening criminals hands have mostly been stolen from police lock-ups and such. If you think that banning guns would end murders, you have some serious thinking to do. If you have, you need to get back at it cause you my friend are seriously wrong in this thinking.

<< Do you maybe mean Black Rhinos? >>

That's Black Talon, and that was the biggest crock of gun-grabber BS ever to hit. The Black Talon was never even the most effective hollow point, yet they bent over and dropped their pants for the ignorant masses.

I remember that my uncle went to the range, fired off two boxes of them, and they banned them the next week. He had a bunch of work to do that week, and never made it to the store to buy some more. He was pissed as hell over that...

<< the criminal is more likely to shoot me if he saw me with a gun than if i dont have one. >>

Actually statistics show he is more likely to run if he senses retaliation/opposition.

Get your facts straight.

I have several examples of evil black guns in my house, they are posessed by Satan, & can actually kill people;)

Bought a Savage Tactical in October, and the place I ordered it from mentioned he was able to sell EVERY black gun he could stock, reguardless of caliber or intended use, it was really freaking the guy out...

Just bought a Ruger .243 for my 12 year old daughter Link

We're gonna kill Bambi this fall & eat him...

I remember seeing the news stories about the Black Talons, and later about the Black Rhinos. Heck, I even remember the news stories about the "Saturday Night Specials" being manufactured at some plant in New Jersey. :p

Would I own one....hell no...not while I can afford two or three. Baffeled2 carry a small defensive anyway.
Ma. sucks...I'd rather be tried by 12 than carried by 6. Mass is so bad.....I had a R.I. carry and a Ma. and a Maine. They all started getting rediculous about renewals. Had my home state R.I. for 20 years with no problem and now all of a sudden it was a bunch of BS to renew. Just got tired of it....but if work required me to visit nasty places at night..I'd renew it. Lots of anti gunners on here.......opinion won't do you much good if a bad guy has one and you don't. I don't try to convert people anymore....I take care of family and myself.
Gee...I don't think my collection would fit in one picture. Yes...most are in safes.

Hey Russ, couldn't help but notice your beretta 92 in that pic :) . How do you like it? I own a stainless 92FS, and I LOVE it. Very accurate, perfect reliability, and excellent accuracy. In my oppinion, its just about that best 9mm handgun out there.

I also noticed that you shoot the corbon 115grn. +P ammunition through it....I've always wanted to try that load in my beretta. Is it pretty good stuff?

I would probably, but I wouldn't base it on the second amendment. That was for maintaining a militia, and since we have the government we do, I don't think the need for a militia is strong enough to warrant the second amendment. Not that I think guns are wrong or that we shouldn't own them, because I think we should. I just don't think the second amendment justifies it.

I don't own one and I wouldn't own one unless I thought my life was in such danger that even the cops couldn't protect me.

I would never consider using a gun to protect myself, if you hurt someone with a gun - even if it is on your own property and the guy is a burgular or whatever - its classed as manslaughter and you go to jail (well in the UK you do anyway).

Yeah, I heard about that old guy they put away for defending himself. Next they will jail you in the UK if you do not have your valuables bagged and labeled according to hock value, for the convenience of burglars. :p

'fraid that's just the UK friend. Which is the main reason I will never, ever move to the Uk, as much as I'd like to sometimes.

Whilst I don't agree that the guy should be been jailed for such as long time, I feel that there was no need for the guy to of shot and killed the burglar (who was a 16 year old kid BTW).

I mean, what was the guy trying to achieve? Is anything he owned worth going to jail for life for? I seriously doubt it. You may say he was trying to protecting himself but I find that hard to believe - as far as I can remember the kid was unarmed.

'fraid that's just the UK friend. Which is the main reason I will never, ever move to the Uk, as much as I'd like to sometimes.

If this happened in many other countries I think the outcome would of been similar. At the end of the day if the guy shot this kid because he was threatening him or his family with some sort of weapon I am sure that the judge would of been far more lenient but he wasn't the kid was just a common burglar, sure burglarly is wrong but you shouldn't be executed for it.

I own many guns for protection. While I don't have a problem with those who choose not to own a firearm and understand the ramifications of their decision, I have serious problems with those who would have me be a helpless victim for the sake of their own security. If you choose to let the two-legged animal prey upon you that's your business, just don't expect everyone else to.

I too can double tap into a moving target, and I would suspect so can a lot more gun owners.
