Do YOU wear shorts OUTSIDE of sweats?

(I know, this coulda been a poll. But, I am not anti-poll ... just lazy. )

If so, why?

I used to do it, but only because I had seen others do the same. Then, an enlightened friend revealed to me that it makes no sense to do so. What would you do if the sweats got too hot? So now, I wear my shorts underneath with the intent of removing them later.

Holey sweats need not reply.

no. although, i do wear a tshirt outside of a long sleeve sometimes. I don't think i've seen anyone wear shorts outside of sweats. What kind of shorts? khaki, those gym shorts, daisy dukes? You sound kinda like a daisy dukes kinda dude.

No daisy dukes for me. I actually had basketball uniforms in high school (in the '90s, no less) that would definitely qualify. I think I served my time.

Anyhoooo, I've seen folks jogging in sweats with anything from near-the-knee kahkis to gym butt-huggers on the outside. Thankfully, no thongs.

I wear a pair of shorts outside my sweats while jogging in winter. It provides a layer of severe cold weather protection for an area where I don't need any frostbite.

Iron, why not wear them on the INSIDE of your sweats?

Its ridiciously stupid. The last time this happened, all the school kids in 7th grade wore their gym shorts outside of their pants... Its done now.

I just have alot of oversized shorts that fit better out. Running thinned me down. And I sure don't care what people think, or how they think I look.
