Do you wear a seatbelt?

here in Massachusetts you have to wear one, if you don't they will pull you over and cite you, I believe we are one of the first states to have such an aggressive policy, it used to be that they could only cite you if you were stopped for another offence however as of a few days ago the police were given the ability to stop for only seatbelt violations.

Personally if I am on the highway I generally wear one but if just making a quick trip I tend to not...I find them to be somewhat annoying as I have yet to find a seatbelt that doesn't cut into my neck no matter what the adjustment and also I hate it when they lock you in place from time to time making it so I cannot lean forward.

habit. i pop it on when i get in the car.

i even try to look for one in taiwan and then i realize wait... i dont need to.. its just habit.

Why don't you need one in Taiwan?

I always wear one and I hate people who think they don't need one in the back seat (i know several people that are close to me that do this). I tell them everytime i'm with them that they need to wear their seatbelt wherever they are in the car, and usually they do when i'm there...but i'm not there all the time!!! what to do!!

In my state the law requires seatbelts on driver & all passengers, and they enforce it.

California Highway Patrol will pull you over & ticket you just for that, if they don't see the belt coming down from the side.

Yes. One of the rare times I didn't put it on, I got pulled over for not wearing it while on my way to work. 50 bucks down the drain 🙁.

I've worn one long before it became law to do so.

I got into an accident once where I was T-boned and was thrown onto the floor between the two front seats in a full sized van while the van was doing donuts in the middle of the street. I've worn one ever since.

I always do when riding in the front. I wear a seatbelt in the back if I'm riding with someone who wants me to wear one.

99.9% of the time. The other .1% of the time, I'm bringing the car in from the driveway to the garage (my garage is in the backyard and sometimes we keep the cars on the driveway so that we don't have to pull them out all the way).

Basically, anytime I'm leaving my driveway, seatbelt on

Did you see the first video? The guy not wearing the seatbelt was in the backseat.

Sometimes I do, most of the time I don't. I work at a car dealership and most of the time I'm in a car, it's to move it somewhere else in the lot or half a mile up the road to get gas. It's habit that I don't and when I get in my car to go somewhere, I don't even realize that I don't put it on.
