Sometimes I will wear a cap when I need to run out but haven't showered or brushed my hair yet.

I wear them backwards because the bill bugs the crap out of me and beanies are too hot.

No and No.

I like not going bald thank you.

Ha ha! Either my sarcasm detector is busted or spidey is spreading still more misinformation. I move for his title be changed to "Misinformation Minister."

I could have sworn that wearing a hat contributed to baldness (sweaty, ticked off folicles, etc) although it's mostly genes.

What do I care now anyway, it's already receded.

It's a myth.

Most scenarios for wearing a ballcap backwards are when you are already wearing a ballcap and need to look up or hold something close to your face for whatever reason (taking pictures, doing construction, blah blah).

Or if you're like me and are annoyed by the bill and only use it to block the sun... otherwise you wear it backwards to keep your field of vision clear.

If so, WHAT?

I like the sun in my eyes!

But I don't wear ball caps...anymore

Back when I did, I'd turn the hat around to do stuff like look in a microscope or something

I wear a cap every once in a while. Either normal or backwards. I don't do that cocked to one side BS though.

yeah, the crooked thing is so Fresh Prince 1992

Every now and then, I'll pull a crooked hat guy to the side, and quietly whisper, "Hey dude, you might want to fix your hat. It's pretty crooked."

They usually give me a confused look and I wink and say, "No problem. I just don't want you to look like a jackass or anything" ;)

I agree. It seems that it's mostly the bangers that do it.

hahahaha bangers, hoping that was sarcasm. You cant actually think that everyone with a hat on like that is a 'banger'

I'm old school so the only time a ball cap should be worn backwards is if you are kneeling behind home plate with a catchers mask on.

I've pretty much stopped wearing hats, but for the years that I did, it was usually backwards.
Why? Because I liked it better that way. No statement or anything.

Do you realized the first person on television to wear their cap backward was one of the Monroe brothers from Green Acres.

I haven't heard the term "ball cap" since Daffy Duck tried to sell Warner Bros ball caps on the Batman VHS tape.

backwards produces less drag forces against forward motion.

So why not just wear some manner of skull cap?

Im too cheap to buy one :)
(or is it laziness?)

But your point very well taken.

Because a skull cap can't be turned around to shade your face and eyes occationally.

Because once forward motion ceases, the subject may desire facial protection from ultraviolet solar radiation, which may be accomplished by rotating said headwear 180 degrees to the forward position. Such a feat may not be accomplished with bill-less headwear.

better than assuming everyone who dresses that way is automatically an elusive "gang banger"

:p

Plus, in a pinch, you can take off the hat, hold it by the bill, and it can give you that extra little bit of reach to catch something.

I have 1 hat. Redsox fitted New Era. I'd have more if they fit my head, but I have to special order mine. Size 7 7/8 FTL :(

Yes, I wear one often. Always forward if worn.

Remember when all the **** were wearing their hats forward but with the bill bent into a sort of 90 degree CW rotated "C" shape? WTF was up with that?
