I tried to PM you last night but just as I sent it the forums shut down. I live near the coast a lot of construction is being done, we have onshore breeze and the windows stay open year round. Waxing makes keeping it clean much easier.

I have a Lian-Li, silver and it's anodized. This was my first build ever, so I was obsessed. Before anything went in the case I blew it out with compressed air and washed the outside with warm lightly soaped water. I was surprised how much manufacturing dust came out of the pores, the water was gray.
Then I rinsed it with clear water on a clean rag. Let it dry over night. Then gave it three coats of decent automotive wax.
It looks better for it, is a snap to clean off as no finger prints from my greasy eating habits stick to it :)

Even though it has Intel on the inside, I still waxed it :D

The downside is, it must be picked up with fingers under the case as the sides are too slick.
Total time, less than 2 hours. I doubt I will ever have to wax it again. When my gal lets loose of the money, I will wax whatever case she selects, hopefully another Lian-Li.

Just as anything else, clean it before you wax it. "Take pride in your ride". No-matter what it is :p

This attitude was established during my years as a mechanic, when once a year I would do a full house cleaning of my tool box & tools. With waxing once a year and 20 years of use, my Snap-On tool chest is still presentable.

Well, my stickers give me an extra 7.5 MHz boost. I guess I have the good stickers. ;)

And to the orignal poster: What? You have time to wax your computer case? Way, way too much time on your hands. What do you plan on doing, leaving your case out on the front porch so it can get dripped on by acid rain? That's the only reason you'd want to wax your case. Oh, if you are going to wax it, just don't forget to change the oil on the cooling fans every 3,000 miles too. ;)
